She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lauer and Margaret Lauer; her husband John B. Hurd; and her siblings, Bill Lauer and Mary Alice Horcher.
She is survived by: her children, Marcia Scales (Bill), Michele Lohner (Steve), Michael Hurd (Susan) and Tricia Manning; and her sister Charlene Lyday. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
