She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Kerns and Helen Kerns (Harris). She is survived by: her siblings, James Kerns (Tressie) of Texas, Linda Kerns of Arizona and Jon Kerns (Pam) of Fremont; and her siblings' children, Alyssa Patel (Karan) of Cincinnati, Emily Kerns of Chicago and Aaron Kerns (Kyira) of Cincinnati.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA, due to her life-long love of cats.
