He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lou Haynes and Paul R. Haynes Sr.; his son Paul Raymond Haynes; his siblings, Robert Haynes and Joyce Haynes Broom; his uncle Alonzo Edmondson; and his aunt Minnie Edmondson.

He is survived by: his daughter Chanita Haynes; his grandchildren, Chaz Brisco Jr., Chashy Brisco and Loyal Mosley; his stepson Rondale Sullivan Sr.; and his uncle Bobby Edmondson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
