She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Gibson and Emma Gibson; and her husband Eugene Peters Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Eugene Peters Jr., Danny Lee Peters, Kathy Ann Copper and Gary Peters; and her grandchildren, Diane Middleton (Keith), Clint Janney Jr. (Sara), David Peters (Trish), Jessica Flint (Jim) and Joshua Janney.

In lieu of flowers, family encourages memorial contributions to Kobacker House Hospice as the family will always be grateful for the care they provided.
