It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Racine E. Green (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on June 15, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Amar and Fannie Amar (John Green Sr.); and her siblings, Robert Amar, William Amar, Thomas Amar, Tyrone Amar, Mary Amar, Reola Amar and Cynthia Amar-Amison.
She is survived by: her sister Fannie Amar; her grandson Troy Cheese; her great grandchild Anaesia Green; her children, Velinda Green of Columbus Ohio, Doretha Hicks (Duane) of Columbus Ohio, John Green Jr. (Sandy) of Columbus Ohio, Raye of Columbus Ohio, Tammy Johnson of Columbus Ohio, Charlotte Strickland (Adrain) of Columbus Ohio and Lamont of Columbus Ohio; and her siblings, Samuel Amar of Beckley, James Amar (Doris) and Janice Mayo of Beckley, WV.. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
