He is survived by: his daughter Rachel Fay (Seth Jones); his brother Gary Fay of Columbus, OH; his siblings-in-law, Jay Stevens of Shelby, OH, Mary Duerer of Scottsdale, AZ and Trent Wertman of Ashland, OH; and his siblings, Dale Fay (Easter Haney) of Morehead, KY, Bonnie Fay (Bonnie Hetrick) of Columbus, OH and Stan Fay of Ashland, OH..

“I am sad to learn of Brents’ passing. He was a great friend of my ex- husband Jerry Cole. The two of them built many race cars together and were geniuses in there own right. I loved his shaggy grey haired dog Ponder! I had a key to Brents house many years ago to let the dog out while Brent was working. He got away one time and I frantically ran through the neighborhood trying to catch him. I don’t think I ever told Brent I almost lost his precious dog. My heartfelt condolences to Rachel and fami”
