He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Smith and Wilma Matyac; his sons, Raymond Deran and Daniel Ray; and his brother-in-law Jim Donnally.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Piccione; his son Joseph William; his grandchildren, Alicia, Brandon, Miranda, Tyler Piccione and Meganne Thaxton (Elliot); and his siblings-in-law, Rita Wiggins (Chris), Sandy Donnally and Jerry Donnally. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
