She was predeceased by: her husband James Vassau; her parents, Cleatus Nichols and Ethel Nichols; and her sisters, Mary Scarffol, Brenda Hudson and Phyllis Nichols.
She is survived by: her sisters, Pearl Hayes (Keith), Donna Russell and Helen Carroll; and her siblings' children, Tammy Scarffol, Richard Scarffol (Darin), Cynthia Scarffol and Tina Scarffol. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
