He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Gordon Mahone, Jr. and Anne Pearl Mathis; and his siblings, Norma Jean Mahone and Ernest Henderson. He is survived by: his wife Karen Hurdle Mahone; his children, Eunika Mahone, Gina Mahone, Danielle Hurdle, Reginald Mahone, IV (Tawanna), Rennell Mahone (Shakiyla), Demond Deal (Lorraine Arnold) and DaCorey Hurdle, Sr.; his siblings, Ronald Mahone (Karen), Gerald, Michael Henderson, Herbert Mathis and Alberta Idley; his stepsister Trina Cain of Columbus, Ohio; his siblings-in-law, John Cephas (Sandra) and Brenda Tyler; and his close friends, Al Brown, Michael Johnson, Norman Smith, Crystal Jones and Gina White. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends.
