He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richardson and Doretha Richardson; his grandparents, Jake and Betty Hoover; and his brother Milton L. Ford.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Williams-Ford; his children, Catrina M. Glass, Jody Carlock, Brian (Tiffany), Eddie (Rebecca), La'Tasha, Tauja Ford, Deshaun, Tamika, Alex (Myia), Richard Williams (Shay) and Dominique Lowery; his siblings, Jake Long (Betty), James Richardson Jr., Janet Conwell (Arthur) and Loretta Pardon; his uncle William Hoover; and his aunts, Bernice Davis and Geraldine Hayes. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 14 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
