He was predeceased by: his wife Iona M Huntley; his parents, Orville Louis Huntley and Lilly M. Huntley; his son Darryl R. Huntley; and his sister Ruth Ann Shannon (Huntley).

He is survived by: his brother John E Huntley; and his children, Darla, Douglas and David. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces, and nephews and friends.
