With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Rivera of Columbus, Ohio, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on June 26, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignacio Rivera and Juanita Rivera (Garcia-Rodriguez); his wife Mary Lou; and his siblings, Arthur Rodriguez, Minerva Garcia, Margarita Rivera, Juanita Nieto and Rachel Cervantes.
He is survived by: his siblings, Arturo Rivera, David Rivera, Rick Rodriguez, Miguel Rodriguez, Susie Carreño and Stella Baldazo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews, and great-great-great nieces and great-great-great nephews.
LEIPSIC - Richard L. Rivera, 82, of Columbus and formerly of Leipsic, died at 4:02 p. m. on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus due to complications of COVID-19.
