He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Sims (JoAn) and Mark Sims (Tracy); his grandchildren, Maya, Jacob, Violet and Selma; and his siblings, Jim Sims (Brenda) and Vivian Puryear (Dick). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
