He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Breeckner and Marie Breeckner; his son-in-law Bill Grundey; and his siblings, David Breeckner, Joe Breeckner (Theresa), Louella Glick (Louie), Henrietta Koch (John), Mary Ann Clark (Jim) and Delores "Peachy" Breeckner.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Gleich Breeckner; his children, Don Breeckner (Traci), Sue Grundey, Rob Breeckner (Tracy) and David Breeckner (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Brian Breeckner (Sarah), Keith Breeckner, Michael Breeckner, Nicholas Grundey, Greg Grundey (Kim), Kayleigh Barker (Jacob), Taylor Ritter (Brock), Desiree Brown (Anthony), Spencer Breeckner and Mackenzie Downard (Zac Miller); and his sisters-in-law, Susan Wilde (Chuck), Suzanne Gleich and Violette Breeckner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and very close friends.
