He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Backus Matteson; his brother Jim; and his parents, Alfred and Geneva Campisi Matteson. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Johnson (Luther), Kimberly Dalton (Del), Lisa Smith, Angel Jensen and Christina Marcum (Doug); and his siblings, Sherron, Teri, Mark and Danny. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
