He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Chapman and Rondell Chapman; his wife Alice M Chapman; his son Roger D Chapman Jr.; and his siblings, Sondra Hutchinson, Tony Chapman, Nathaniel Chapman, Brenda Chapman, Wonda Chapman and Crosby Chapman.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Ramsey and Bryan Chapman; his stepchildren, Alice, Steve Kinsinger, Keith Dilbeck, Maria and Jeff Cox; and his siblings, Pam (Wayne Lucas), Ralph Chapman, Paul Chapman and Scott (Janetta Chapman). He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
