He was predeceased by: his parents, Lula Mae and George Betton, Sr.; and his siblings, Lee Betton, George Betton, Jr., Edward Betton, Sr. and Mary Trudo (Lawrence).
He is survived by: his friend Brooks; his wife Marie; his children, Alisa Watson, Aleta Thomas, Camille Williams (Timothy), Ronald, Jr. and Alena Hampton (Torrance); his half-sisters, Rochelle Betton-Ford and Meichell Betton; his siblings-in-law, Ernest Williams, Herman Ed Maynus and Bernice Betton; his grandchildren, Isaac Watson, Donnyell Thomas, London Hampton, Ashland Williams and Torrance Hampton, II; his great grandchildren, Malcolm Thomas, Zara and Kenzo Watson; his sibling's children, Derek Trudo, Devonne Cruz and Arminta Williams; and also Jackie Davis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Church of God (3480 Refugee Rd, Columbus, OH 43232). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Glen Rest Memorial (8029 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068).
