She is survived by: her children, Julia Curtis (Bret), James McDaniel (Mary Jackson) and Anthony McDaniel (Sheila); her sisters, Gloria Carr (John) and Sylvia Morrison; her cousin Willie Mae Romaine; her siblings-in-law, Willie Mae Jackson and Luther McDaniel; and her grandchildren, Devirre, Shanillya, Shaqueena, George, Alonzo, Lorenzo, James Jr., Ashleigh, Austin, Tiffany, Jennifer and Anthony Jr.. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
