She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lucille Morrison and Samuel Morrison; her siblings, William, Eloise Watson, Peggy Ann Boyd and Helen Harris; her husband Julius Cotton, Sr.; her children, Julius Cotton, Jr. (Pauline) and Peggy Ann Cotton; her grandchildren, Demetrius Shyree Cotton and Shyrell Carl Hill; and her close friends, Brenda and Joshua Griffin. She was also cherished by 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
