She was predeceased by: her parents, Early B Hunt and Dorelina Hunt (Doreen); her former husband Richard King (Dick); and her niece Michelle. She is survived by: her husband Larry Newland; her daughter Esther Whitted (Ernest); her grandchildren, Asia, Micheal, Malachi, Corrionna and Jayonna; and her sibling's children, Christena, Danielle, Samantha, Melvin, James, Anthony, Timothy, Huey and Christopher.
