Freeman of Columbus; his sister Esther Henderson of Milwaukee, WI; his former wife Kathryn Gilbert; his daughter Sharon Freeman; his siblings, John Henry Freeman, Lowell Freeman, Alvin Freeman, Stonewall Freeman and Nancy Freeman; and his great grandchild Domonique J'quez Freeman. He was also cherished by nineteen grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
