He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell E. Lamm, Sr. and Hazel Lamm (Stracke); his sister Nancy Ann; his stepson Mark Hurd; and his grandson Jason.
He is survived by: his wife Janith Hurd; his daughters, Gabrielle Young (JJ), Erica Lamm and Traci Blaine; his stepchildren, Brian Hurd (Amy) and Kelly Nauerth (Dave); his grandchildren, Zachary, Alexander, Russell, Luke, Jetta, Andrea, Brianne, Adam, Sarah and James Michael; his great grandchild Zackrey; and his sibling's children, Steve Mercer, Bobby Mercer and Christine Mendivil.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Russell's memory to Capital City Hospice.
