She was predeceased by: her sisters, Helen, Alice and Donna. She is survived by: her parents, William Edgar and Hazel Margaret Dern Beeman; her spouse Joseph Paul May; and her children, Stephen, Christine, Georgiana and Donna. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
