He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Cudgel and Mary Cudgel; his daughter Cherrilyn Goodwin; his siblings, Ronald Ellis and Diane Cudgel; and his stepson Gary Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Cudgel; his children, Kevin Brown (Robin), Tony Richardson (Kayla), Rhonda Cowart (Eric), Sheila Hester, Tracy Cudgel and Gina Harris; and his siblings-in-law, Gene Rice (Norice), Darryl Rice, Janice Givens (Jerry) and Kim Rice. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
