He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcella Gaskill and Manuel Portella Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Greg, Victoria, Jessica, Ashley, Katie, Amanda and Jordan; and his siblings, Theresa Lewingdon, Lyle and Kevin. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
