He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Buescher and Evelyn Buescher. He is survived by: his wife Ila; his sister Carol Santoro; his daughters, Elizabeth (Rob Herron) and Susan (David Woodmansee); and his grandsons, Benjamin, Matthew Woodmansee and William Herron.
