He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy F. Powers and Virginia Powers; his former wife Carolyn Powers; and his wife Linda Powers. He is survived by: his siblings, Penny Reynolds (Jack), Pamela Pash (Reed), Patricia Powers, Lori Deal (Simeon) and David Powers (LeaAnn); and his stepchildren, Ronald McCarty Jr., Timothy McCarty (Lori), Beth Ann Linier (Kevin) and Jeffery McCarty (Sharon). He is also survived by 2 step grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
