It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvan Junior Cleland of Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on September 25, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvan J. Cleland and Dolly F. Cleland; his wife Barbara E. Cleland (O'Rourke); and his siblings, Mildred and Jack.
He is survived by: his children, Frances L. Ewing (Ken), Barbara A. Shonebarger (Gary), Sylvan J. Cleland (Linda) and Michelle L. Inboden (Scott); his grandchildren, Lennie, Angie, David, Jennifer, Kimberly, Stephanie and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Katy, CJ, Kaley, Haylee, Taylor, Levi, Seth, Andrew, David Jr., Zoey, Addy, Bria, Alexus and Noah; his great great grandchildren, Riley and Emmett; and his siblings, Georgia, Charles and Melvin. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, and extended family.
Due to COVID restrictions, there will only be a private immediate family memorial.
