He is survived by: his mother Sue Newland (Salts) of Londonderry; his brother Rudy Newland; his former wife Loretta Tripp Bridges; his stepchildren, Shara Tripp, Shawna Tripp Buchanan and Jared Bridges; his stepgrandson Lane Tripp of Tennessee; and his close friends, Scott Hutchison, Mikki Vinkovich, Todd and Phillip Kellough.
