He is survived by: his father Thomas Spann; his daughters, Traiana Monet and Taja Monet; his brother Dalyn L. Brown (Angela Harris); his niece Jalyn Parks; and his sisters, Chrysanthius Spann-Williams, Denise Spann-Morgan, Stephanie Spann-Campbell, Mel, Vina Spann of Pennsylvania and Shelia Spann-Chang of Virginia. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
