It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valeska Bailey (Columbus, Ohio), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 24, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Moore and Stella Moore (Valesky); her brother Charles Moore; and her sister-in-law Sue Moore (Hancock). She is survived by: her spouses, Earl Norman Bailey and Norm Bailey; her children, Michela Bailey (Kela) of St. Louis, MO, Bradford Bailey (Brenda) of Floyd, IA, Laura Sogard (Chris) of Indianapolis, IN and Amanda Houston (Ryder) of Iowa City, IA.; her grandchildren, Ryan Bailey (Joy) of Jacksonville, FL, Eric Bailey (Melanie Slattery) of Brooklyn, NY, Katherine Bailey (Fiancé Hunter Ortmayer) of Charles City, IA, Abby Sogard, Annabelle Sogard of Indianapolis, IN, Braden Houston and Schuyler Houston of Iowa City, IA.; her great grandchild Adaline Bailey of Jacksonville, FL.; her nephew Chris Moore of Peoria, IL; and her great-nieces, Shelby Moore and Laura Belle Moore of Peoria, IL.. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and dear friends.
