We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2020, at the age of 94, Violet A. Porterfield of Columbus, Ohio, born in Wheeling, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mariane Chichy and Stella Veronica Cihy (Jonus); her husband Harold J. "Chub" Porterfield; and her siblings, Helen Lechok, Barbara "Jess" Cihy, Frank and Walter Cihy.
She is survived by: her daughter Jill Porterfield Baxa (Tom) of Columbus; her brother John Cihy (Nora) of Warsaw, MO.; and her granddaughters, Lee of Columbus and Ann Baxa of Columbus. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
