We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2019, at the age of 89, Walter Mathews (Columbus, Ohio), born in Adams County, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Thomas and Pearl Pennington Mathews; his son Kenneth E. Mathews; and his siblings, Charles, Bernard, Andy "Junior", Leroy, David, Bill, Ortie and Leona.

He is survived by: his wife Omalee Fern Smalley Mathews; and his daughter Pamela S. Bobson (Neil) of Dublin. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews, as well as his special dog.
