He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardin Peters and Bertha Peters (Campbell); and his siblings, Kermit, Ralph, Don, Lucian Peters, Marie Thompson, Lorene Harvey, Ora Lee Moore, Virginia Walters and Loretta Neal.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Peters; his daughter Stephanie Fox (Robert Bell); his grandsons, Jason Tirey and Jeremy Tirey (Jackie); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Jessica and Jaxson Tirey; his sister Mary Campbell (Kenneth); and his sisters-in-law, Chestina Gabbard (Bill) and Elizabeth Williamson (George). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
