He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley H. Snell and Dorotha Snell (Acomb); and his grandson David William Snell of Columbus. He is survived by: his wife Helen Jean (Swallen); his brother Stanley L. Snell of Forest; his children, Paula Popenfoose (Steve) of Warsaw, Mark A. Snell (Kathy) of Columbus and Martha Miller (Craig) of Duncansville, Pennsylvania.; his grandchildren, Jon Popenfoose (Megan) of Warsaw, Joel Popenfoose (Jessica) of Warsaw, Crystal Lett (Jameson Lett) of Columbus, Amber Snell (Sloan Le) of Denver and John H. Eichelberger III (Elizabeth) of Houston, Texas.; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Harrison, Avery, Cameron, Weston, Wyatt Popenfoose, Noble, Henning, Augustine Lett and John H. Eichelberger IV; and his sibling's children, Rick, Tim Snell and Pam Easterbrook.
