He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Hix and Helen Hix; and his sister Sharon Elliott. He is survived by: his wife Janet Hix; his children, Dawn Nickles (Jeff) and Brian Hix (Jennifer); his brother Craig Hix (Alice); his grandsons, Nathan Smith (Kary) and Simon Hix; his great grandchildren, Parker and Cole Smith; and his sisters-in-law, Wanetta Mercurio and Mildred Whiteside. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
