He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur R. Dennis, Sr. and Valdienne Dennis (Ryan); his sisters, Connie Dennis and Janice Blackston, Sr. (Oliver); and his son Raheem Burris.
He is survived by: his children, Isaiah Thompson, William Tripplett, Juanita Tripplett II and Ashley Burris; his siblings, Dr. Deborah Dennis, Marcia Dennis, Arthur Dennis, Jr. (Rita) and Jeffrey Dennis (Angela); and his close friend Hazel Bozeman. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
