He is survived by: his former wife Janette Sales; his siblings, Bobby L. Thomas and Christine Thomas Smith (Al); his children, Willette Crawford (Nate), Dana (Chris), Trower, Ava Thomas (John Foster), Isaac Thomas, Lena Dodley, Tonya, Jones, Tina Craft (Rock) and Kenneth W. Keels; his cousin Lorene Campbell-Byrd; and his close friend Charles Clark of Arthur Hill. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
