He was predeceased by: his wife Estra Shvartsman. He is survived by: his children, Aleksandr Shvartsman (Svetlana Chernyakhovskaya) and Anna Braverman (Aleksandr); and his granddaughters, Yelena, Tatyana, Svetlana and Olga. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
