She was predeceased by: her mother Elizabeth Jestee Smith; her sons, Delrico Brooks and Tywan Clemons; her husband Jerry Clemons; and her sister Zina Smith.

She is survived by: her sons, Otis Brooks of Mansfield, Calvin Brooks of Mansfield and Tyrain Clemons of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Chantel Brooks (Larry Avery) of Mansfield, Danielle Brooks of Mansfield, Otis Lee Brooks III of Ashland, Jasmine Brooks of Ashland, Isaiah Brooks of Ashland, Ameir Brooks of Ashland, Justice Burkey of Ashland, Sincere Brooks of Connecticut, Caylee Brooks of Mt. Vernon, Keyona Brooks of Mt. Vernon, Calvin Lee Brooks Jr., Chervone Pinkston and C'era Malisha Brooks; her siblings, Larry Smith of Columbus and Zandria Caldwell; and her brother-in-law Leroy Reed of Mansfield. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
