She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth (Clark) and Harry Kirkwood, Sr.; her husband Kaarlo E. Vasti; her sons, Dennis "Skip" Vasti and Jeffrey A. Vasti; and her siblings, Harry Kirkwood, Jr., Hazel Laituri, Carl Kirkwood and Naomi Jewett.
She is survived by: her children, David Vasti (Brenda) and Karla Rapisarda (Steve); her grandchildren, Kimberly Dickinson (Jerry), Brian Vasti, Laura Ramsey (Jordan), Krista Rapisarda, Matthew Rapisarda (Ashley) and Sarah Rapisarda; and her great grandchildren, Stephan Vasti, Griffin, Ellis Ramsey and Olsen Grace Rapisarda.
