It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Smith of Conneaut, Ohio, born in Richmond, Ohio, who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Klein Spencer and Nellie Spencer (Evans); her husband Carlton Smith; her son Hugh Lyman, III; and her siblings, Mildred Spencer, Ruth Boggs, Jean Brockett, Claudia Jewell, Robert, Victor and John Spencer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Brakeman (Glenn) of Jamestown, PA, Priscilla Hadley (Douglas) of Pikeville, TN and Susan Druktenis of Ashtabula, OH; and her siblings, Joan Burns of Albion, PA, Sandra Hill of Cleveland, OH and David Spencer of South Carolina. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
