He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Finlaw and Theresa Finlaw (Soos); his wife Joan; his daughter Kathy McCall; and his brother Gary Snyder.

He is survived by: his children, Terri Lucas (Phil), Gary Finlaw (Linda), Jane Claus (Steve), Cindy Altman (Bill), Jeff Finlaw (Peggy Ward), Chriss March (Dale), Greg Finlaw (Wilhelmina), Lori Golembiowski (John), Scott Finlaw (Gypsy Montgomery) and Rachel Long; and his sister Dorothy Covell (Glenn). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
