She was predeceased by: her parents, A. Jay Shumake and Ruth Shumake (Mosier); her brothers, Richard, J. Bernard and Edward Shumake; her sister-in-law Dorothy Shumake; and her cousin Marian Sundback.

She is survived by: her sibling's children, Tamara Lehman (Brian), Timothy Shumake (Cathy), John and Sally Shumake; her sister-in-law Helen Shumake; her great-niece Abigail Newell; and her nephew Theodore Lehman.

In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Order of Eastern Star # 12, 2015 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
