She was predeceased by : her parents, Denzil Blake and Mildred Collins Blake; her daughter Sarah Bernard Tillman; her sister Sharon Shaheen; and her parents-in-law, Jay and Babs Bernard.

She is survived by : her husband Timothy Bernard; her children, Corrine Swackhamer and Timothy Bernard, Jr.; her grandchildren, Heath, Cody Swackhamer, David Bernard, Daniel Bernard (Lacey Lanning), Ashley, Tayva Bernard and Erett Tillman; and her pet Sissy. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
