She was predeceased by : her parents, Ezra Hoops and Florence Hoops (McCune); and her husband Johnny Rex Wood. She is survived by : her children, Tina Wood, Sharon Carr, Penny Canter (Gary), James Wood (Susan) and Lori Maloney; her siblings, Ruth Ann Wilson, Patricia Forgrave, Peggy Owen and Edward Hoops; her grandson Jonathon "Andy" Hook; and her sister Nancy Newlon. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
