She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Jessica Tyler; her siblings, Ruby Walker, Idella Walker-Murray and Roosevelt; and her stepbrother Eddie Bias.
She is survived by: her husband William Gunther; her children, Kimberly Foy (Kevin) and William Keith Gunther (Rochelle); her grandchildren, Shaneka, Briaune Gunther and Corbin Gunther Foy; her siblings, Lois Ball, Ruth Morton (Richard), Leroy Walker and William Henry Walker (Barbara); her sisters-in-law, Diane Franklin (Dennis), Wanda Richardson and Tracy Murray; and her aunts, Lela Rutledge and Effie Coats.
