She was predeceased by: her husband Gary A. Mort, Sr.; her son Gary A. Mort, Jr.; her brother Thomas Pierce; and her nephew Scott Mort. She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Culver (William); her grandsons, Jake Watson, Jayden Mort and James Watson; and her close friend Pam Wells.
