He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlton Garrett and Pauline Garrett; his brothers, Dwight L., Roland O., Clifford D. and Darrell D. Garrett; and his great grandchild Cayden Wince.
He is survived by: his brother Big; his wife Carol A. Garrett; his children, Kim Elaine Mounts (Jim) of Pittsburgh, PA, Dean Allen Garrett (Tonya) of Coshocton and William "Bill" Charles Garrett of Columbus; his grandchildren, Lisa Marie Garrett, Bruce Allen Potts (Brooke), Tiffany Dee Olmsted (Chris), Brittany Krystle Potts, Katie Brianne Garrett and Wade Dalton Garrett (Erin); and his sister Sis L. Clagett of New Concord. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, Bernie's family will be scheduling a celebration of life service at a later date.
