He is survived by: his wife Donna Carpenter (Jaeger); his children, Jon McMasters (Heather) of Coshocton, Rob McMasters (Raychel) of Coshocton and April Wilson; his grandchildren, Kennedy, Kynsingten and Colin; and his siblings, Richard Carpenter (Linda) and Michelle Carpenter.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards the Coshocton County Veterans Council; envelopes will be available at the church.
